Physical Therapy
Lymphatic Manual Drainage Therapy:
Lymphatic drainage is a gentle, non-invasive technique designed to stimulate the body's lymphatic
system, encouraging the removal of toxins, excess fluids, and waste. Using rhythmic, light-pressure
strokes, this therapy helps reduce swelling, improve circulation, and support overall detoxification. It is
especially beneficial for post-surgery recovery, managing chronic conditions like lymphedema, and
boosting general wellness.
Whether you are recovering from a procedure or simply looking to enhance your body's natural detox
processes, lymphatic drainage can help you feel lighter, more energized, and revitalized.
Bodywork Therapy:
Bodywork therapy is a hands-on treatment approach used to address pain, muscle tension, and joint
dysfunction. It involves specialized techniques like soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, and
stretching to help improve mobility, reduce discomfort, and restore optimal function. Unlike
exercise-based approaches, bodywork is focused on physically manipulating muscles and joints to
release tension, enhance circulation, and support the body’s natural healing processes. This
personalized, skilled touch can be highly effective for clients dealing with stiffness, injury recovery, or
chronic pain, providing a foundation for better movement and long-term relief.
Therapeutic Corrective Exercise:
Therapeutic corrective exercise goes beyond the scope of traditional Pilates and exercise method training
by integrating advanced physical therapy principles and techniques. Unlike a standard Pilates, or
personal training private session that may primarily focus on strength, flexibility, and overall fitness, these
sessions are rooted in rehabilitative science, aimed specifically at addressing individual biomechanical
issues, pain, and mobility impairments.
In each session, clients receive an in-depth assessment and targeted exercise regimen tailored to their
unique musculoskeletal needs. Utilizing the Pilates mat, reformer, and other apparatus, these sessions
emphasize alignment correction, injury prevention, and pain reduction. The therapeutic approach is
informed by a Doctor of Physical Therapy and certified lymphedema therapist, ensuring that exercises not
only enhance functional movement, but also support specific rehabilitation goals.
